COVID 19 -CORONAVIRUS

Exodus 23:25 - And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

GREETINGS TO ALL IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST,

It is with great confidence in the God that I serve, that I speak these words of both comfort and warning to all that are concerned about the crisis the world is facing as a result of the COVID 19 (Corona Virus) Outbreak.

Although this epidemic outbreak is real and presents a seriously dangerous environment to the world, we must turn to the Word of God for our solution.  There is never a time when God is without a clue.  God knows the ending not only from the beginning but He knows the ending before the beginning.  It is our duty to trust that God always has a purpose for anything that He allows.  " And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

I believe that even in the midst of this crisis God is speaking to His people, calling us back to Him in full trust and fellowship.  God has been so graceful and merciful to us as a nation as well down to each individual.  We have experienced so much of the goodness of God yet we seem to continue to find less and less time to spend in His presence and going about carrying out the true mission and ministry of the church.   For a while we, the church, has allowed the cares of this world the take precedence over the things of God.

Although there are many theories as to the cause of the COVID 19 outbreak, there can be no debate over the fact that ultimately God is in control and if He allowed it then there is a purpose and a lesson to be learned.  We should use this time to reflect on our dedication and committment to the will of God.

Finally we have so many promises in the Word of God that gives a solution for any crisis that we may face in this world.

Exodus 15:26. And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I amthe LORD that healeth thee.

Deutoronmy 7:15. And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Exodus 23:25 - And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

2 Chronicles 16:12 - And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease [was] exceeding [great]: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

Psalms 91-1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

2 Chronicle 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Psalms 34:15 -19- 15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. 16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.  17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.  18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.  19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

While we are obligated by scripture to obey the laws of our land, let us look to the hill from where our help come.

Our God. shall supply all our needs.

Be encouraged, This too shall soon pass.
