Supt. Richard A. Butts, Pastor

Pastor Richard A. Butts, was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. son of Gloria and the late Jesse Butts. He is the grandson of the late Bishop Eddie Butts.
He grew up in East Orange, New Jersey and Graduated from Orange High School in Orange, New Jersey. He has AA degrees in Chemistry, Engineering and Computer Science from Daytona State College and a BS Degree in Forensic Chemistry from the University of Central Florida.

He was saved in 1979, at Butts Temple in Daytona Beach, Fl, under the late Bishop Henry L. Butts. He was called to the ministry in 1980 under Bishop Henry L. Butts. He was Ordained as an Elder in 1985 under Supt. Johnny Lingo, Pastor of Flowers Temple COGIC, in Winter Park, Florida and the late Bishop M.L. Sconiers, Western Florida COGIC, State Bishop.

He was appointed Pastor of Love Tabernacle COGIC (Currently House of Prayer, Praise and Power COGIC) in 1989 by the late Bishop M.L. Sconiers.
He was appointed District Supt. of the East Central District in 2004 by the late Bishop H.D. Bryan.

Pastor Butts has worked in many capacities on the local, district and state levels in the Church of God in Christ.
Missionary Simone Butts, 1st Lady
Missionary Simone S. Hall was born in St. Andrew Jamaica, WI. Missionary Simone S. Hall accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at 8 years old. Missionary Simone S. Hall became a member of Love Tabernacle COGiC (renamed to House of Prayer, Praise and Power COGIC) in 1997. she graduated from Winter Springs High School. Later Simone attended Seminole Community College obtaining a degree in Accounting then 2 BS degrees in Accounting and Finance from University of Central Florida. She continued her academics and obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing her C.P.A. license.
Over the years, Simone has held many positions in the church. Simone currently serves as an Evangelist Missionary, Sunday School Teacher, Finance Secretary, and District Sunshine Band President. Simone also works in the Investment banking industry as an Accounting Supervisor.
Simone loves God, her family and friends, the church, and singing.
